The International break has done Brendan Rodgers no favours. The previous international break saw the Bhoys toy with their Glasgow rivals for 90 minutes, A 1-0 scoreline never told the true story.
The team struggled when they returned after the break. Celtic are in search for some consistent form this season, and after the Hoops wiped the floor with Saints two weeks ago. With another international break the chance to get back to some attacking flown football was missed. Or, It will it be? Can the Hoops pick up from where they left off?
The answer to them questions will be found out today as the Celts come up against the in-form team in the SPFL. Rodgers has found a worthy adversary in Neil Lennon over the past year.
Celtic fans knew in advance that Leigh Griffiths was a major doubt for today. French Eddie starts up front on his own with Christie on the bench. Celtic fans will be happy to see Benkovic and Boyata manning the back line as the two have looked Celtic’s strongest pairing.
Kick off from Celtic Park is 3pm and we will have all the latest reaction and news as it happens.
