CELTIC were in top form today as they put four past a good Hibernian side in a game which finished 4-2.
There were many positives from a Celtic perspective; Tom Rogic’s outstanding ability, Celtic’s fluency and killer touch and the emergence of an absolute leader at centre back in Filip Benkovic.
Celtic lost two goals which were very much avoidable, but there was a reason why Hibs stopped hitting the ball towards the big Croatian in the second half as he bossed the first period.
He had a quieter second half but done more than enough to make sure Celtic were on the winning side.
After the game, Filip looked right at home and went over to the Green Brigade with the rest of the players and started conducting things.
Someone must not have told him that was Kieran Tierney’s gig!

Benkovic is just on-loan for a season and Celtic fans know there’s not much scope past that for any long-term involvement but the club will certainly benefit from having the defender here this season.
