Celtic are part of the earlier bunch of kick-offs, with the match in the Santiago Bernabéu getting underway at 5.45 CPT.

In the lead-up to the match, many questioned who would start alongside Jenz in central defence, with Carter-Vickers missing the trip feeling sore after Celtic’s trip to Livingston. The Celtic boss has answered the question in his lineup.

Joe Hart is passed the captain’s armband in CCV’s absence, while Starfelt returns from injury.

It’s going to be a tough night for Celtic, who will be looking to match the performance levels of the forest half in Glasgow when they really should’ve been a couple of goals up against the Real Madrid side.

It’s the end of what’s been an underwhelming Champions League experience, but the players and coaching staff will have learned a lot from the matches as they prepare to bounce back next year.
