Celtic’s pursuit of winger Luis Palma is nearing completion, albeit with slight delays in the schedule.
Palma, currently with Aris, was expected to have already arrived in Glasgow to finalise his transfer over the weekend. Reports on Monday morning stated that the player was in London having a medical.
However, Sky Sports’ Anthony Joseph claims that he is still awaiting final clearance and is expected to arrive in Glasgow either on Wednesday or Thursday to seal his move.
UPDATE: Aris FC winger Luis Palma is due to arrive in Glasgow later this week to finalise a £3.5m move to Celtic.
It’s understood the player is still waiting on clearance to travel to the UK.

The Aris manager confirmed on Sunday that Palma would be making the move to Celtic, describing the winger as a “big loss” for the Greek club. Palma has been instrumental for Aris this season, being involved in almost every goal they have scored so far. His manager praised Palma for his hard work and wished him the best for his future at Celtic.
The slight hiccup in the timeline shouldn’t be a major concern for Celtic fans eager to see their club finalise the deal. With the end of the transfer window approaching, it will be a significant addition to Brendan Rodgers’ squad, which is looking to bounce back from a run of disappointing performances.
The acquisition of Palma, who is said to be joining on a 4-year deal worth £500,000 a year, will be a vital part of Celtic’s plans, especially as they look to strengthen their squad with more quality players before the transfer window shuts.
