Motherwell have cited an injury for the breakdown in the deal with Celtic looking for revised terms to take the player while injured.
Motherwell were not keen to negotiate the price down and Celtic weren’t happy going forward so the deal is off and it has to go down as one of the most shambolic transfer sagas in recent times
From Motherwell inexplicably going public with Celtic’s offer to Celtic making a statement on twitter, a Norwich intervention and a last minute change of heart. We even had a picture of the player in the hoops sitting in the board room.
Today that deal is in tatters and it remains to be seen if Celtic will go back in January once the player has got his fitness back.
You have to feel for the lad today.
Lee conga your forgeven. Your not the only one to get the wrong player, at the wrong time, at a extended contract on high wages. Please come back and sort this out. Either that or Celtic are dragging their pockets on the ground yet again. Are they ineligible to spending the season ticket (ours) on players again.
In order to move forwards you have to spend much more than your rivals. And they have spent nothing. So that’s why.
