It appears that Celtic’s January transfer business is all but over for the month after completing the signing of Jonjoe Kenny.

Sky Sports reported shortly after the Kenny deal was announced that Celtic’s business for the day and the month overall was done and they wouldn’t be adding any further players to the squad.

Going into this month, it started off on a bit of a downer with the loss to Rangers and being all but out of the title race so some felt there wasn’t much reason for adding players to the squad. Add to that the results again Hibs, Livingston and St Mirren, this really concludes a disappointing January.

The club did get a right-back as mentioned in Jonjoe Kenny over the line which was MUST needed after the £11.5 million sale of Dutch full-back Jeremie Frimpong.

The outgoings don’t seem to be done yet with Oliver Ntcham still to complete his move to French side Marseille. However, that looks to be the final action of Celtic’s in this window.
