We have sadly stumbled on footage of Ibrox fans appearing to take delight and pleasure in racially abusing a Japanese player because he plays for Celtic.
The video allegedly shows grown men proudly abuse Kyogo Furuhashi among themselves while being filmed.
During the clip, the chant Kyogo Furuhashi ‘ate my dog’ appears to have been sung – something they chanted towards former Celtic star Nakamura back in the 00s.
They can also be seen skewing their eyes as they all do the ‘Kyogo’.
It’s only taken a few weeks of Kyogo Furuhashi being in Scotland for him to be the subject of racist abuse. Rangers fans are consistent if nothing else pic.twitter.com/9w4cM0ygxP

This has to be called out. These people should be chased back into the shadows. It’s not ok to be racist and after them all rallying behind Glen Kamara and rightly calling out racists – it seems you’re fair fame if you’re a Celtic player.
Pathetic.
Their club should ban every single one of them from Ibrox.
We should be living in a tolerant society, rivalry is great but when you want to be so vile and go into the gutter – you are an absolute moron of the highest order.
Wonder if any of the anti racist groups the police or sky sports news who are all big on this will say or do anything, I won’t be holding my breath
here here.
