CELTIC look like they’re in pole position to sign hot prospect Elvis Azah.

The 16-year-old winger who plays his football in Ireland but originally from Ghana was on trial with the club last week as Brendan Rodgers looks to build for the future.

The young man got on the scoresheet for Celtic and assisted in another in a closed-door game against Partick Thistle according to the Daily Mail.

Brendan Rodgers has instructed his youth coaches and scouts to try and unearth some of the top talents from around the world and bring them to Celtic Park.

Having them in from an early age is seen as absolutely key to the Irishman’s plans.

Celtic already have one of the hottest prospects in European football in young Karamoko Dembele, could this addition see both of them tearing it up in the first team in 3-4 years?
