Eddie Howe was on pundit duty for the Premier League alongside Michael Owen for overseas TV.

The Englishman has been heavily tipped to take over at Celtic but three weeks on since the rumours intensified, we’ve seen very little public progress.

Howe continues pundit duties, not giving any outward sign he’s ready to sign a deal with any club.

The clip online is Howe talking about the proposed Super League and his opposition to the money grab by some of the EPL clubs.

Eddie always speaks really well. He’s a young, hungry manager and he’s an option many Hoops fans want as the next full time gaffer.

We will still have to wait and see how things progress. But given Neil Lennon left his post in February, the wait is getting a bit ridiculous.

We have Champions League qualifier in July and we need more than just a manager before then to give ourselves any chance.

Will the club finally push things forward now they know they can offer the season ticket pass next season until fans can finally get back to games?

Renewals is going to be a huge thing for the club and how they deal with it will have a profound effect on the uptake.

Eddie Howe being appointed would give the whole place a massive boost.
