Former SPL chief Roger Mitchell has delivered his damning verdict on the decorum of some people and clubs during this worldwide crisis and he’s not held back.

Mitchell has done the rounds on many media outlets over the past few weeks as he talks about the financial crisis facing Scottish football and the potential abyss if people don’t stop looking at The Rangers and get back to the important things.

Some of the media have been relentless when it comes to attacking the SPFL, even before they saw any sort of dossier. When the document was more of a water pistol than a smoking gun – some in the media have doubled and trebled down on their assertions and it’s not looked very professional.

On the other side of the coin, Mitchel praises Partick Thistle who have acted well during this whole thing, even though the club has been relegated. Celtic’s silence throughout being applauded by the former SPL chief and the naivety of Hearts owner Ann Budge.

Spot on, to be fair.
