English Premier League side Crystal Palace are reportedly ‘keeping tabs’ on Celtic winger Liel Abada.

The Israeli youngster only joined the Hoops as one of Ange Postecoglou first signings in the summer and made an instant impact on his arrival, scoring in his debut vs FC Midtjylland.

Since that warm summer evening, the 20-year old has continued to go from strength to strength, scoring 13 goals and assisting a further 9 in 37 appearances this campaign – an impressive feat for the youngster who has only just turned 20.

Of course, two of those goal contributions came in Wednesdays 3-0 win against Rangers, with Abada setting up Celtic’s 2nd goal of the night before scoring the 3rd shortly after.

According to reports from Sun Sport, his performances have led to interest from Crystal Palace, who are now keeping an eye on the winger.

The report also states, though, that Parkhead chiefs have no plans to cash in on Abada, just months into his career with the Hoops.

Given that Abada arrived as more of an unknown quantity during the summer, his rise to one of the key players within Ange Postecoglou’s side has been very impressive.

At points, Ange has even admitted that the Israeli internationalist has probably played more games than he originally expected. However, Abada has continued to show maturity beyond his years over the last few months.

Thankfully, we should be seeing more of that from the winger at Parkhead for the foreseeable future, despite any interest from sides in England.
