Tonight, we were expected to find out who we would be facing in next weeks 3rd Europa League qualifying round.
Both Riga (Latvia) and Tre Fiori (San Marino) were meant to play out their tie this evening. The game kicked off as normal at 6pm but that is when things started to go wrong.
The game was forced to stop play twice due to exploding lights within the stand, which appear to be caused by the poor weather in Latvia tonight.
Riga vs Tre Fiori kicked off around 20 minutes ago
Game is currently interrupted though due to a light in the stadium breaking, with the glass smashing

When the game was paused for a third time this is when the referee decided to call it off. Of course though this has thrown all sorts of problems.
Currently, the Latvian side are in talks to get the ahead tomorrow at a different ground, this time at the Daugave stadium.
However, there is a rush for them to prepare the stadium in time for tomorrows game.
If it was not to go ahead tomorrow, the Riga manager has confirmed that Tre Fiori will be given the win for this fixture and therefor face Celtic in San Marino next week.
That is probably the result that would favour the Hoops, with Riga being the favourites to progress from this tie.
These crucial talks are currently on-going and we should learn the outcome very soon, as to who Celtic may be facing this time next week.
