ANDY WALKER has urged Celtic to get their house in order quickly after watching an entirely predictable result play out at Ibrox on Sunday.

The Sky Sports commentator believes the one nugget from the game yesterday was Dominic McKay joined the board to take in the game ahead of his first day.

McKay started his job on Monday morning but he took in the poor result and will know the enormity of the task he faces to get Celtic back to where they belong.

“The result was entirely predictable. Rangers had all the best players in Patterson, Aribo, Kent, Davis. They were all on top form and Celtic couldn’t cope.” Walker told RecordSport.

“Rangers are used to European competition and they soaked up a bit of pressure.

“I thought it was interesting to see Dominic McKay there. I think that tells you that change is on its way.

“It has to happen as quickly as possible. Every Celtic supporter has been left in the lurch after this supposed January review.

“We have seen some third rate decision making over the last couple of seasons and that’s what McKay has to address.

There’s been a managed decline here and he has to get on top of it.

“The sooner he gets involved in appointing a new head coach, manager or director of football the better.”

Celtic fans want to see action, they want to see decisions being made and a new manager coming in.

Right now, we’re working our way to the end of the season with little clarity.

It’s time to show our hand and start rebuilding. If it’s happening behind the scenes, this has to be made public.

Who is going to be our next manager and what setup are we implementing?

The turnaround of staff and players is going to be enormous, the longer we leave things, the harder it’s going to be.

Let’s get to work.
