Last January, the defender was famously involved in a ‘transfer saga’ of sorts, which saw him make the move to Premier League giants Liverpool after Celtic had agreed a deal to bring him to Parkhead.
The move to Anfield hasn’t quite worked out for the former Preston defender, as he failed to register a single minute on the park for Jurgen Klopp’s side.
