CELTIC FANS watched their team run out 3-0 winners in the quarter-final of the League Cup. The bhoys had a slow start but won convincingly in the end against Raith Rovers on the night.

One player who received a lot of plaudits – including the stadium man of the match was new loan bhoy Jota.

The winger played out on the left for most of the game and both scored and assisted to help the bhoys to victory.

The winger was then put up front for the final 25 minutes of the game because Giakoumakis suffered an injury while warming up.

Overall, the player was excellent and many fans have recognised it.

Jota showed signs he’s a player ready to break down stubborn defences.

We didn’t see it against Livingston, but we have to remember this team is in its infancy and Jota is still getting used to Scottish football.

Many of these players have come from teams who have never faced such resistance when it comes to attacking.

The more they play against these teams, the better they will become.
