BRENDAN RODGERS witnessed Celtic’s 1-0 over Dundee United in January. Of course, Juranovic started the game on the bench.

At the time, it was unknown why the former boss made the trip up north to watch his old cup just days before the Glasgow Derby, it was assumed he was paying tribute to the late Wim Jansen. However, transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has revealed differently on his podcast.

The Italian states that the Leicester City boss watched Josip Juranovic and is keen to bring the player to the premier league. Romano states that a fee of between £8.5M to £12.5M could be enough to see the Croatian international leave Glasgow just a year after arriving.

In all honesty, it’s unlikely that Celtic will allow the player to leave the club after just a year, and Celtic is signing a 5-year deal in no rush to sell the player.

The new fan favourite is also attracting interest from other big European names.

Hopefully, Juranovic is willing to stay at Celtic if offers do come in for the defender. The club can offer the player the opportunity to win trophies and play at the highest level in European football next season, all things going well.
