Nicolas Kuhn has admitted that Celtic’s trip to Livingston at the weekend didn’t feel like an away game.

Three stands of the Tony Macaroni Arena were decked out with travelling supporters. A pre-match tifo was organised, and The Bhoys walked out to rapturous applause.

The Celtic fans didn’t back down throughout the 90, remaining constant in their support for the team.

Indeed, winger Kuhn, who was later named Man of the Match, praised the travelling faithful because they made the team feel as though they were back at Celtic Park.

He told CeltsAreHere: “It is unbelievable. The Livingston match felt like a home game. The fans were great.”

Between now and the end of the season, the Celtic supporters will do all they can to give their team an extra edge in the title race.

Their continual backing can undoubtedly spur The Bhoys on but this weekend, no away fans will be in attendance.

The Hoops will have to deal with the inevitable hostility at Ibrox but it is something they have become used to over the past few years. Kick-off for Sunday’s hotly contested clash is at noon.
