Former Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers stormed out a Leicester City press conference as he took exception to a journalists line of questioning.

The 49-year old is under immense pressure at the moment as his side currently sit second bottom of the English Premier League on five points after 10 matches.

It was once again another disappointing result for the Foxes at the weekend as they failed to score against Crystal Palace in a 0-0 draw at the King Power Stadium.

It’s the clubs worse start to a season since 1983/84 and Rodgers is beginning to show that the pressure is getting to him with a clash at home to Leeds United this Thursday having even greater significance.

Before the Irishman departed Celtic, he was continually asked about the Leicester job and did at one point walk out of a press conference when asked.

He repeated the action at the weekend after starting the press conference in good spirits but when he didn’t like the line of questioning walked out when asked if rumours were true on supporters websites that he was too expensive for the club to sack.

“I have read on the news what I am supposed to be on and I know for sure that is a total fabrication. It’s nowhere near,” he snapped as highlighted by the Daily Record.

“I actually think it is a disrespectful question, very disrespectful. I never asked you how much money you are on or whether there is any blockage in your role from your owners. I don’t think you need to worry about my wages. If there is a stumbling block in any thing, you need to ask the owners that. It’s a disgraceful question.”

The former Liverpool boss is reportedly one of the best paid managers in the division and Leicester will have to weigh up their options if results to begin to improve quickly.
