Some outstanding players have graced the game who were great at dead ball situations. If you were lucky enough to have a season ticket during the Gordon Strachan era, then you’ll already be able to tell what former Celtic player has made the starting XI of the all-time great set piece takers to grace football.

Copa 90 put the starting XI together and has names such as David Beckham, Ronaldinho and Maradona.

But there’s a special place in the side for the man from Japan – Shunsuke Nakamura.

If you have watched Nakamura play then you will know he deserves his place in that particular team.

His free kicks at Celtic were legendary. One of them downed Manchester Utd on a memorable night at Celtic Park and another clinched Celtic the title in dramatic circumstances.

It’s hard to believe now, but when Celtic used to get a free kick somewhere around the area, most fans were confident a goal would be coming, and a lot of the time Nakamura did not disappoint.

Nakamura holds a special place in Celtic history, and anyone who was not fortunate to watch him in the flesh must go to youtube and watch his greatest hits.
