Former Celtic midfielder Joe Ledley posted a video from his holiday after his night was interrupted by a certain Ibrox anthem.

The Welshman who is currently between clubs and enjoying his summer break took to social media to voice his displeasure at ‘Simply the best’ blaring out in a bar.

“I’ve come on holiday for this s****, really?”

Joe, 32, spent three years at Celtic under Neil Lennon and was hugely successful. Signing the player on a pre-contract from Cardiff the Welshman would prove to be a bargain for the Parkhead club. Joe famously scored a cracking header against the old Rangers back in the day and was always in amongst it when it came to a Glasgow derby.

The midfielder made 157 appearances for the bhoys, with 30 goals and 24 assists to his name.

The Simply the Best anthem couldn’t be more detached from reality when it’s belted out by the Ibrox faithful on matchday. The song played by a side who celebrated coming second in the league and who have not won a major trophy.
