Celtic look set to have one of the busiest summers in their history with a complete overhaul planned. A new CEO, new manager, new coaching staff and new players all set to arrive in Glasgow in the coming months.

Celtic Colts were also given permission to participate in the Lowland League next season with the vote passing back in May. This will aid the development of Celtic’s next stars, the lowland league is very physical and competitive, it will certainly not be easy for Celtic’s Under-20s.

Celtic are on the hunt for someone suitable to take charge of the team, RecordSport understand much-loved character John ‘Yogi’ Hughes is in the frame running to manage the team in Scotland’s fifth tier.

The Edinburgh born defender made the move to Celtic in 1995 before leaving in 1996. Hughes led the Ross County team that beat Celtic 1-0 in the league, Lennon’s last game in charge.

Yogi, a much-loved character in Scottish football, left his position as Ross County manager at the end of last season.

I would love to welcome Hughes back to Celtic and look forward to what he can achieve in the role of Colts manager.
