Moussa Demebele departed Celtic in the summer of 2018 following a prosperous two years at the club in which he scored 51 goals in 94 games.

He left for Lyon but with his contract at the club due to expire this summer and no sign of a renewal on the cards, the Frenchman is on the hunt for a new club this summer.

It appears that several sides have already expressed an interest and according to Football Scotland, Frankfurt are in talks with his agents.

As well as this, newly crowned Serie A champions Napoli have opened dialogue with Dembele’s representatives.

To have two European giants interested in him is encouraging to say the least for Dembele.

Napoli are aforementioned Italian champions and Frankfurt won the Europa League last season, much to the delight of Celtic fans.

Both of these destinations would be terrific ones for Dembele and it is safe to say if he chose to heard to Germany, a fair few ‘Dembele 9’ Frankfurt shirts would be shipped to green and white households in Glasgow for obvious reasons.
