CELTIC are still working on a deal for Fraser Forster this week to try and bring the goalkeeper back to the club for the ten in a row tilt.

In the know journo Alan Nixon delivered an update on his social media, this was after Daryl Currie from BT Sports told his followers the deal was still very much on.

Celtic thought they had a deal in the bag for Fraser Forster this summer but the player himself went cold on the idea of another loan deal with an option to buy. From the outside looking in, it appears Fraser wants to get his long term future sorted now. A permanent deal for the goalkeeper on a four or five-year deal would certainly tempt the big man.

For Celtic, they need to get a deal done as quickly as possible or at least nowhere they stand going forward. If Fraser Forster doesn’t return, Celtic need to bring in at least one goalkeeper to give Scott Bain competition.

  1. what’s the hang-up, they know how good he is he proved it once again last season, why go down the loan deal route, if they want him, give him a permanent deal and get it done or move on
