Scottish PFA Player of the Year Kris Commons thinks Neil Lennon would in essence have to win the Champions League to get award for top boss in the country.

Neil Lennon was overlooked for the award once again, even though he lead his team to a 3rd consecutive league title only incurring one loss (so far) along the way.

The award went to Aberdeen’s Derek McInnes who has had a stand out season with the Reds.

When asked if he felt his manager was unlucky Kris was candid. He said –

“I think he was unlucky more so last year.

“For a manager to do what he did last year was nothing short of a miracle.

“But he might get it if we win the Champions League.”

Well, get to it Kris. 😉
