CELTIC COLTS let a 1-0 goal lead slip against The Rangers this afternoon in their City of Glasgow Cup tie.

The bhoys took the lead in the first half through Karamoko Dembele’s quick thinking and Luca Connell’s clinical striking.

The bhoys were holding firm and played most of the second half with ten men with Ewan Henderson sent off for a second bookable offence.

However, the young Celts would be dealt a late deflected sucker punch by the Ibrox side who scored on the 86th minute to draw things level.

It ended honours even between the Glasgow pair but the Celtic side will be cursing their luck on the day. They have the talent and the ability to win these sorts of games but it didn’t go their way in the end.

They battled well with ten men but ultimately it wasn’t enough.

The bhoys will learn from the experience and hopefully, come back stronger.
