The Green Brigade have reacted on their social media page to the breaking news on Friday morning that Peter Lawwell’s stay at Celtic is coming to an end this summer.

The Celtic CEO has spent seventeen years in the role but the overwhelming feeling among many in the support as it was time for a change.

That change at board level will now happen in the offseason, however, the Green Brigade are making it clear that’s just one down!

We’re assuming they are talking about Neil Lennon, who with this news, becomes more of a lame-duck manager.

We’ve still to hear about this January review but the club might allow Neil to see out the season before new CEO Dom McKay comes in and a new manager is appointed.

If the club is clever, they would sort out who their manager will be next season in the coming weeks, giving that man plenty of time to feel out the squad and prepare for next season’s early Euro qualifiers.

  1. New manager on the way a few new faces and all dead wood sold a big pot of money for new manager for his first season in charge then he can sell and bring in new faces over 3 or 4 or 5 years of his contract, things are looking up we could do with new manager in before end of this season so he can make up his own mind who will be part of his plans, things are changing and going back to the top of Scottish football is in our own hands now with a good lump sum of cash to buy who we need…
