The Green Brigade have marked 100 days of. Elric being managerless by unveiling a banner at Celtic Park with the number one hundred.

In keeping with their message this season, the Peter Lawwell out message appears on one of the zeros.

Celtic thought they had Eddie Howe in the bag and had planned to announce him this week at the latest. Instead, the Englishman plunged the club into yet more chaos by pulling out of the deal.

It’s left Celtic scrambling for a new plan and while it appears they’re working on one, Celtic still sit without a manger 100 days since Neil Lennon left the post.

Peter Lawwell will step down at the end of this month but isn’t relinquishing control until his final day is over.

It’s become clear Dom McKay was brought in early to shadow Peter and ask questions as he goes.

The new CEO has only been allowed to attend a few fan meetings and take a back seat when it comes to official club business.

We’ll find out pretty quickly next month what Dom had in store for the club under his watch.

Right now, Peter Lawwell will likely be the man to unveil the new Hoops boss when the time comes.
