SFA and SPFL Chiefs are meeting at Hampden TODAY to thrash out where to go with the league after the shut down came into force on Friday.

So much speculation over the weekend, between potential government intervention and UEFA talks happening has got everybody in a spin.

The league season was close to being over and more than 2/3 of the games have been played.

It’s unfortunate things have panned out the way they have but we now have people who are paid a lot of money in our game to handle these big issues.

According to Mail Sport, the talks over where the league goes from here have ZERO CHANCE of the league being declared null and void.

There’s too much things in play to null and void the season. TV, Sponsorship and supporters money have been paid to clubs and if it’s declared a non-event there would be cause for this money returning to sender.

The ideal scenario is somehow getting the games played. Beyond that, let’s use common sense and be grown ups.
