NEIL LENNON has confirmed the players won’t be back at Lennoxtown until Tuesday after they were sent home on Friday when the shut down came into play as confirmed by the Evening Times.

Right now, they’re due back at Lennoxtown to train, but we’re unsure of the immediate future of the game and there could be a cause for players not training and going off on an enforced break until the season starts back and they go through a pre-season training regime when that happens.

Neil Lennon will be back in his office today and will have a sit down meeting with Peter Lawwell and other board members about the ongoing crisis facing the game.

Things from league positions to sponsorship money and players contracts all need to be talked about.

We should be currently wading over the aftermath of a Glasgow Derby but as we sit here today, a football being kicked seems a million miles away.

The whole world is shutting down and it’s not exclusive to Scotland or the UK. This pandemic has and will continue to alter our way of life for the foreseeable.

The uncertainty right now within the footballing world is the big issue of the day. We would like to see concrete decisions being made. Whether that’s even possible or not remains to be seen.
