Celtic face off against arch rivals Rangers this Sunday as Ange Postecoglou looks to make it into his first Scottish Cup final as Hoops boss.

The Bhoys, who have been almost formidable heading into this one, will be high on confidence having not lost to their Glasgow counterparts in just over a year.

They will be aiming to keep this streak going on Sunday and here is our predicted lineup for the colossal clash.

It is certain Joe Hart will start between the sticks and a defence of Alistair Johnston, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Carl Starfelt and Greg Taylor is all but nailed on.

Midfield is where we begin to come into some dilemmas.

Of course Callum McGregor will get the nod and if Reo Hatate doesn’t make it, Tomoki Iwata, who has not looked out of place in recent weeks, and Matt O’Riley will start alongside the Celtic captain.

If Hatate is deemed good to go, though, it would not be surprising to see him get the nod ahead of an Iwata or O’Riley.

Up top, Kyogo will begin through the middle. On the wings, it is hard to see Ange dropping Daizen Maeda therefore the other wide spot will be between Sead Haksabanovic and if he is fit, Jota.

In my opinion, even if the Portuguese is good to go, the Montenegrin will get the nod in his biggest Celtic chance yet.

This all means that on the bench, we will see the likes of Aaron Mooy, David Turnbull, Oh, Liel Abada and Jota – all of which could make significant impacts on the game at any given point.

In summary, here is our predicted lineup for Sunday:

Hart, Johnston, Carter-Vickers, Starfelt, Taylor, McGregor, Iwata, O’Riley, Haksabanovic, Maeda, Kyogo.
