There are not many things you can get 99.9% of Celtic fans to agree on these days when it comes to anything; team selection, transfers, contract renewals, new kits and designer hot tubs just to name a few.
However, this morning we have come across the rarest of phenomena when it comes to a Celtic related rumour – the return of Henrik Larsson.
The rumours doing the rounds this weekend is Neil Lennon has drawn up a shortlist of names who he’s considering bringing into the club in a coaching capacity and Henrik Larsson is on it.
This has been met with almost universal backing from the Celtic fans online who would love to see the Swede come back into Celtic Park and play a role in the club’s future.
Larsson has had stints as coaches and as a manager, so the job is not a foreign concept to him and Celtic certainly isn’t. The famous Peter Lawwell line he kept banding about a few weeks ago about Neil Lennon ‘He knows the club, he knows the city’ – check and check!
Celtic fans have been so split over many things, the introduction of the king into the fold could be just the thing.
Easy for Celtic to pay £60 – 80 grand to Henrik, than pay for a 3 new strikers , Henrik can do daft things at times, but being Neils under study ain’t one of them, peter will try and make honey out of dogs shite with what we are left with and his thinking is we are daft enough to believe Henrik is going to make us all feel better and Lennon is playing his part in the scam
