CELTIC’S Official Website boasted the club has joined esteemed company in the first half of the season.

The site wrote Celtic had become one of the most attended clubs in Europe this year with the ninth biggest attendance in the whole of Europe:

With an average attendance of 57,523 across season 2017/18, Celtic’s aggregate attendance for the period across League matches, was a phenomenal 1,092,937, support for which the Club is hugely appreciative and grateful.

Celtic enjoy phenomenal support for a club who is always put down by outward sources for playing in the Scottish League.

The club continues to draw a large audience and has been enjoying unprecedented success over the past two and a half years under Brendan Rodgers.

Celtic will no doubt sell out their capacity for the Valencia game in February when the Spaniards come to town and the bhoys will be watching on as their team shoot for eight-in-a-row in the SPFL.

After the winter break Celtic get back down to business on Saturday against Airdrie and then must kick on to make sure they defend their crown in front of their supporters.

The club cites the report from UEFA which can be read here.
