Celtic fans have watched their side pick up their first points in the group stage of the Europa League and they have every right to be delighted.
The players were tentative and in control during the first half but they really became more sharp and started getting at Ferencvaros in the second half.m
Jota was by far the man of the match but there was great performances all over the pitch. The defenders were brilliant, and even the subs who came on made a great impact.
One man who has been getting praise for his cameo is Gorgios Giakoumakis. The Greek striker is yet to start a game for Celtic but when he did come on on Tuesday afternoon, the player gave us exactly what we needed.
The physicality up front to hold up the ball, win fouls and generally keep the pressure of the Celtic back line.
Celtic fans can see there’s a player in the Greek striker even though they’ve not seen much of him yet.
