Juranovic was on the losing side in the end but he did give Celtic a fighting chance of a win in Germany thanks to his incredibly cool penalty.

The defender was back on penalty duties with Giakoumakis out injured and having missed his last penalty for Celtic.

Juranovic made it three in three for the Hoops when it comes to penalties and this one was a little bit cheeky.

The Croatian did a ‘Panenka’ to pull the bhoys level in the tie and he looked like he enjoyed it.

It’s a shot, that if it pays off, looks brilliant, but if the keeper guesses what you’re doing, you can look like a fool.

After the game, the player revealed it was always his plan to do a Panenka the next time he was on penalty duties for Celtic.

Telling goalkeeper Joe Hart he would do it the next chance he got.

“Actually two weeks ago I was speaking to Joe Hart and I told him I will do a Panenka the next time I get the chance,” Juranovic told The National.

“Joe is amazing. He is top class. A top person and a top goalkeeper and he showed that with his saves tonight.”

Juranovic and Joe Hart have become fast friends since both joined the club.

The defender and goalkeeper were pictured out for a meal together a few weeks ago, enjoying a steak.

It’s back to league duty for both at the weekend. Aberdeen visit Celtic Park on Sunday in the hope of getting one over on Celtic.
