THE RANGERS cheerleader Neil McCann believes that the Ibrox side can still win a treble this season, despite the challenges they face.

After finding themselves sitting nine points and 26 goals drift, Mick Beale threw the towel in and admitted the league title wouldn’t be heading to the south side of Glasgow.

McCann has ignored the manager and about every level-headed pundit and claimed that Beale hasn’t ruled out the title saying, “the treble is still on the go”.

Appearing on BBC Scotland, the so-called pundit made the deluded claim.

“It’s going to be a cracking cup final. Since Mick Beale took over at Rangers, he’s had a cracking run of results, but performances haven’t been at the top level that he thinks they’re capable of.

“They’ve been enough to be comparable to Celtic, which is a feat in itself.

“It will give Mick Beale an idea of where his team are at. I don’t think he’s ruled out the league title yet, the treble is still on the go and this is a huge cup final for different reasons.”

Then, when you thought he couldn’t get any worse, McCann acknowledged that Kyogo would be the danger man for Celtic, but only if he was fit.

“The big decision is going to be if Kyogo is fit. That will have a huge bearing because Celtic are a different side with Kyogo in it.”

Does someone want to tell him he was on the bench at the weekend and came on towards the end of the match?

The level of punditry in this country is embarrassing; McCann clearly can’t be bothered to do his basic research, so he has resulted in spreading false and fantasy claims.

  1. Wonderful. Keep building a shite team up and enjoy their collapse more ! Good to see Celtic are saying nothing. Hopefully, they will talk with their football on Sunday.
