With the Glasgow Derby approaching, the worry is creeping into the Ibrox camp.

Stuart McCall has given Rangers a strategy to attempt to neutralise Celtic, and has told Phillipe Clement who will ‘sort out’ Celtic captain Callum McGregor, who normally runs the show.

McGregor, who is still finding his way back to peak condition after an injury in March, has been gradually increasing his playtime, managing significant minutes in recent games against Dundee and Hearts. He pretty much played a full 90 minutes against Hearts at the weekend and looked back to his very best.

Stuart McCall highlighted the importance of addressing McGregor’s role effectively. . “If, like people were saying, McGregor was back to his best for Celtic and pulling the strings, I’d like to see somebody go and sort him out and, for me, Sterling can do that,” McCall stated. [SunSport]

They’re obviously scared of the threat McGregor poses, especially given how he ran the show in the last Glasgow Derby at Parkhead, but what does McColl mean by ‘sort him out’? It’s a phrase that could easily be interpreted in a few ways,  and possibly have connotations of violence. I really hope that wasn’t what McCall was trying for.

  1. They will be sorting out every celtic player, they will get a free reign to do so, Willie will shit his pants to give them any cards

  2. Is that the same sort out from the headless chicken as Bawface Boyd asked for when CalMac wore a mask ? Or when Frankenstein Lundstrum was ” the answer” to Broony ?

  3. That’s desperate talk we have a few players that can pull the strings we will know by McGregors first touch I’d say they will play on the break even though they need a win cause they know Celtic will come at them the only way we can play it will be punt up to dresser feed it to Welsh speed man tes he has pace but you keep him wide he will either run it out or fall over it I’d say they have there own troubles trying to stop our flying men forest maeda khunn palma who will all play through 90 minutes south Korean won’t play he has to learn after lazy defending cost us a win at ibrox penalty was the start for comeback but not covering inside take a while for Rodgers to forgive professional show will see Celtic win it just hope wullie keeps a low profile let the game flow every contacts not a foul nick ross must wondering what he’s done to be ignored maybe var last time he is our top ref by far but that var at ibrox very poor
