CELTIC may have played out a frustrating 1-1 draw with Hibernian at Easter Road on Saturday but there’s no time to dwell as Celtic get set to welcome Cluj to Parkhead for the second time this season.
The bhoys have been in good form and the Hibs game should be passed off as one of those days where nothing seems to go right.
One thing that is going right is the recovery of both Nir Bitton and Mikey Johnston. Both have been out since the start of the month when they went off injured during Celtic’s 2-0 win at Ibrox. The Celtic manager has coped well with both being out of the side.
Nir was brilliant at the start of this season deputising in defence and Mikey has started to show real progression in the first team.
Both could be back for the Cluj game on Thursday if they start training on Monday morning.
Speaking before the Hibs game, Neil Lennon confirmed the duo are on their way back.
?️ NL: “I’m hoping Bitton and Johnston will join the squad training on Monday. Shved’s back in training. Bauer missed the game on Wednesday with an ankle injury but he’ll be fine and back in the squad. Looking healthy at the minute.” #HIBCEL

It will be interesting to see if Neil throws Mikey straight back into the squad.
