Carl Starfelt was replaced at half-time, looking to pick up a knock in an incident just before the end of the first half.

Yuki Kobayashi replaced the Swede and strolled the match, impressing the fans who were watching the game. He looked comfortable on the ball, looking great while playing out from the back, while looking sound defensively.

After full-time, Carl Starfelt could be seen limping as he joined in the celebrations.

Speaking after the match, Ange Postecoglou gave some insight to the injury, saying:

“He felt something in the warm up and flagged it up early in the game, we managed to get him to half time.

“I don’t think it’s too serious” he told Clyde SSB.

Celtic cruised to victory with Aaron Mooy’s opener followed by Kyogo’s back heel, giving the Hoops a 2-0 lead at the break. Cameron Carter-Vickers headed Celtic into the semi-final at Hampden next month, getting on the end of Matt O’Riley’s free kick.

Celtic now have to wait until Monday after the Falkirk v Ayr match to find out who they’ll face at the national stadium.
