Celtic players are currently going through a rigorous pre-season under the watchful eyes of manager Brendan Rodgers.

The entire squad, including two new bhoys Marco Tilio and Odin Holm, and Captain Callum McGregor, are in the midst of intense training and preparation. The team is now in Portugal, training at a state-of-the-art facility called ‘The Campus’.

Nestled in the heart of Quinta do Lago, The Campus is a unique, multi-sports complex that prides itself on offering professional-level training. It’s designed to cater to world-class athletes. It’s known as a place of innovation where players can become their best selves.

The Celtic squad have access to an array of elite facilities. A high-performance gym equipped with the latest fitness technology will provide the players with the perfect setting to build up their physical strength and endurance. Recovery suites and sports rehabilitation services are available to aid in injury prevention and recovery, a crucial aspect of any high-intensity training regime.

While in Portugal, Celtic will also participate in two bounce games. These matches, which are not being advertised for TV, will likely be kept behind closed doors, providing the team with a valuable opportunity to test strategies and build cohesion away from the public eye.

Following their stint in Portugal, the team will head to Japan later this month to continue their pre-season tour. These efforts culminate with Celtic’s first competitive game on August 5th.
