Not that we needed proof there was discontent at our club, the Jeremie Frimpong deal shows something has gone terribly wrong.

Some ardent fans will tell you it’s all about the money, however, the way Neil Lennon described Jeremie Frimpong’s wish to move, it seems like there’s more to it.

The plot thickens when the well respected ‘Rising ballers’ Instagram feed posts a short statement from Jeremie on why he’s looking to make the move to Bayer Leverkusen.

The page promotes top youth players in our game and has a sizeable following as well as access to the players.

‘I dreamed a dream but my demands haven’t been met, you’ll see what I mean’.

It’s rather cryptic but it seems to suggest Jeremie feels he has been let down in some way by the club or coaches at Celtic.

What’s more, two of our other youngsters ‘liked’ the Instagram post sharing the statement.

Karamoko Dembele and Armstrong Oko-Flex look like two young lads who don’t fancy sticking around much longer either.

We reported on Tuesday, Karamoko is set to leave the club in the summer and like Jeremie is seeking a move abroad. Dembele is on the final six months of his contract and is free to move on in the summer.

Oko-Flex has been quiet but his lack of development, like many in the youth side has seen many head for the exit already. He looks to have the same opinion.
