JOE HART had a night to forget in Germany with Celtic. The English goalkeeper at fault for two of Celtic’s three goals conceded on the night.

When we need to be at our absolute best and have a bit of luck, we had some reprieves from VAR but we quickly shot ourselves in the foot.

The first goal, Callum McGregor puts his team in trouble with a poor touch from a corner, Leipzig break away which isn’t Joe’s fault, but when he decides to leave his line during the attack, he allows Nkunku in to score.

After VAR and the referee ruled out Leipzig’s first goal of the second half, it would take just 37 seconds for Leipzig to score when Joe inexplicably passed the ball out to a Leipzig player. The gift was gratefully received and Silva put the team ahead. After that, the German’s never looked back.

Joe has been brilliant for Celtic and has earned a lot of praise, but the big man knows tonight, he’s let himself and the team down.

The goalkeeper has to pick himself up quickly. It’s not a case of learning lessons. Joe is a veteran goalkeeper who should be more reliable in high pressure situations. On Wednesday night, he fell short.

  1. Ange says it’s a learning curve in the champions league, well the only guy at Celtic not learning is Ange!!

I said before kick off we should have played Abilgaard from the start with Cal and what was evident was we had no centre midfield even when Cal was on the park. Abilgaard has been there for 5 weeks but no match sharpness. Only one person to blame for that, Ange!

Also Maeda, the worst player on the park in 3 champions league games. He seems blinded buy this. Maeda is pishh!!!

Play Haksabanovic, again 5 weeks and hardly any game time. It has to be asked, what is Ange doing???
