Sunday evening saw Celtic fans get to have a sit down with Joe Hart ahead of his final six games of professional football.
The Scottish Cup final against Rangers on May 25 will be his last game of professional football, before he takes a break from the sport.
Hart, who has become a beloved figure at Celtic since his arrival, was celebrated in a special event that saw fans and teammates alike paying tribute to his contributions on and off the field. The goalkeeper, visibly moved by the outpouring of support, took to Instagram to express his gratitude. “Jeez what a night, words can’t describe. Thank you to all who came along and all @celticfc. Work to do now but just wanted to say I appreciate you,” Hart wrote.
The evening was filled with highlights from Hart’s career, commemorating his key saves and moments that endeared him to fans for the clubs he’s played for.
one thing is for sure, he will be borderline impossible for Celtic to replace this summer.
