JOHN HARTSON has insisted that there’s no way back for The Rangers as he explains he doesn’t see Celtic dropping enough points to let their rivals back into the race.

Ange Postecoglou’s side is seven points ahead, with a substantially better goal difference essentially giving the Hoops an extra point. Having won all but one league games this season, it doesn’t look likely that the Hoops are about to drop seven points.

On the other hand, it doesn’t look like The Rangers are about to go on a perfect run, with the team in really poor form and pressure mounting on Gio.

Speaking on Go Radio, Hartson explained how he felt there was no way back for The Rangers, saying;

“They’re seven points and 16 goals clear, so really 8 points. They have to lose three games. can you see Celtic losing three games?

“I know they have Rangers to play three times in the league, but the way Celtic are playing right now, they’re just scintillating.

“It already seems a long way back for Rangers, even after 13 games. I think the board will leave it another five or six games, and maybe after the World Cup, if it stays the same, I can see the gap getting even further.”

There’s still a long way to go in the season, with just thirteen matches played, calling the league already is dangerous. Last season, The Rangers were crowned champions by the media in October, and look what happened.

Celtic are certainly in a good place for the league, but we cant get too far ahead of ourselves.

  1. Nonsense talk from the Welshman , showing such over confidence, no championship is ever won in November or December. He should not get sucked in to this . As you correctly say , a long long way to go yet. I’m surprised at Hartson .
