Celtic’s title hopes took another boost for the better on Wednesday evening as Rangers faltered to a goalless draw at Dens Park.

The Bhoys are now three points clear at the top of the table going into the final five league games of the season having played the same number of matches as their city rivals.

Although the Parkhead faithful have been left enthused by the Gers’ previous two results (and perhaps rightly so), their prime focus should remain on Celtic.

Going into the campaign’s end, the title is well within the Bhoys’ hands and former striker and fan favourite John Hartson was on hand to send a message to the support after last night’s events.

On X, the Welshman wrote a blunt yet factual statement. “We need to win our games”, he said.

Having been involved in several title races in Scotland throughout his career, Hartson knows what it takes to get over the line.

Between now and the end of May, Brendan Rodgers’ men must keep their heads down and focus on their own doings.

Complacency cannot be afforded as the Bhoys look to sprint over the finish line and make it three-in-a-row.

  1. According to everyone fae Simon Jordan tae the Daily Rangers the current champions of Scotland have been handed the title.

Conveniently dismissing the fact that the tribute act had played two away games less, have had an unbelievable amount of assistance from the brothers and more importantly have yet to defeat Celtic FC this season, we have been given nothing.
