JORDAN IBE has been linked with a move to Celtic but when the player was asked about any potential deal today he made it clear it was all just speculation.
The winger seemed taken aback by the question and referred to the interest as ‘that Celtic thing’.
It doesn’t sound like a lad who is gearing up to make a trip north of the border.
The Bournemouth player has found the going tough lately and the reports have been founded on him not getting as much game time as he’d like.
Ibe’s response to the Celtic question was pretty conclusive.
“That Celtic thing, I don’t know about that. Any speculation stuff I don’t get involved with.” he told Mirror Sport.
Celtic are now upping their game looking for new recruits before the window closes on September 2nd. The bhoys have brought in some reinforcements but if they want to try their best to defend another treble then they must bring in quality.
If Ibe is on Neil Lennon’s wanted list then the player knows nothing about it.
