The bhoys are heading into Matchday five of the Champions League against Shakhtar at home, hoping to pick up their first win of the competition.

Celtic missed a fantastic opportunity to beat Shakhtar away from home, when their lack of composure in front of goal was their undoing – a theme that has been strung throughout our European campaign.

If Ange and his players are to get a win, they’ll have to do it without Jota who is slowly getting back up to speed. While on the training pitch, he hasn’t joined up with the rest of his teammates. It’s the last step before getting back to first team training, but Tuesday will come too soon.

Kyogo looks certain to start against the Ukrainian side after sitting out their win at Tynecastle. Giakoumakis led the line on the domestic front and got a very important goal to draw level before the Hoops eventually grabbed the win.

While it’s not been a campaign to remember in the Champions League, the game against Shakhtar can deliver tangible progress, but we know it won’t be easy.
