JOTA got on the scoresheet on Wednesday night in Leipzig, but it wasn’t enough as the bhoys fell to a 3-1 defeat.
It was a night where Celtic played well in parts but ultimately, mistakes in their game were costly.
Joe Hart won’t want to watch back Leipzig’s second goal again, and the quality of the opposition showed for the third goal.
After the game, Jota felt downbeat after losing the game, however, he wanted to take the time to praise the travelling Celtic support.
The Portuguese winger branded the supporters world class and seems genuinely taken aback by the support they continue to receive both home and away.
Jota and this Celtic side are desperate to deliver victories in this competition for the supporters. If they want to make a mark in this year’s competition, they have two games at home left where they could really make a go of things.
