Trevor Sinclair was quick to rub salt in the wounds of former Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers on Sunday night with the Leicester boss falling to an embarrassing 4-1 defeat to Bournemouth.

The Irishman had guided his side into the top four before lockdown but the drop off in performances since football returned has seen a colossal collapse. With Manchester City’s Champions League ban being overturned, Leicester look set to crash out of the top four and out of contention for a Champions League spot.

Former footballer Trevor Sinclair is a big Celtic fan and he joined many of the supporters still smarting over Rodgers exit from Paradise.

There’s an ongoing debate about Rodgers place in Celtic’s history and why fans should move on. With my cheeks firmly on the fence, both opinions are completely valid and if you get a kick out of seeing him fail at the club he left Celtic for then fair play.

His Leicester side have looked jaded, much like his final Celtic side before he left. The inventiveness and free-flowing football of the invincible season was left behind eventually.

  1. Grow up FFS-Brendan left well over a year ago-totally disrespectful to Lenny who has successfully picked up the baton and we are now on the verge of the 10 and in pursuit of a quadruple treble.
Why the feck do you need to be hanging on every Leicester City defeat-really pathetic

  2. Here here…that traitor can go to the moon and stay there. We Celtic fans don’t give a damn about leicester results. Hail hail Neil Lennon and the Celtic players.

  3. Imho whatever happens to the snake is of no consequence to me, Lenny is the man who answered the call in our time of need, my loyalty will always be to him HH
