THIS TRANSFER WINDOW is going to be massive for Celtic.

The club is looking to start their title defence campaign and compete in the Champions League Group Stages for the first time since the 2017/18 season under Brendan Rodgers.

Celtic will need to bring some more quality players into the club during the summer months to compete in Europe’s Elite division.

As reported by the Athletic, here are the key dates this summer;

The transfer window opens on the 10th of June in Scotland. FIFA states the transfer window opens on the 1st of July for other European countries, but this shouldn’t affect Celtic too much.

The window closes on the 1st of September, giving Celtic nearly three months to complete their business.

The Celtic players will return to preseason on the 27th of June. Hopefully, Cameron Carter-Vickers and Jota will be present at Lennoxtown that day.

It’s believed that deals to bring the pair to the club are at the advanced stages. Hopefully, Celtic can get them over the line and announce the permanent signings soon.

Celtic has been linked to numerous players already. It’s likely that Celtic will turn their attention to a centre back now that Starfelt’s injured. The club will likely look for a midfielder, with Bitton and Rogic departing, as well as a left-back to push Greg Taylor for a starting spot. Celtic could also sign a winger, however, this isn’t a priority.
