There will be concerns about the players fitness ahead of the Glasgow Derby a week on Sunday but this long break will now give the defender time to recover.
The Scotland squad is in disarray with injuries and after today the morale must be at an all time low. It’s best Kieran comes out of that environment, for the players who are still there, they will have to pick themselves up for Sunday’s game before heading back to join Celtic.
Celtic take on Steven Gerrard’s men on the 31st March where the bhoys will look to Go thirteen points clear at the top of the table.
Neil Lennon will be hopeful Kieran will be fit along with the rest of the lads who are currently on international duty.
